What happens if I file ND state taxes but realize I forgot to change my license over?

So I am originally from KS but I moved to ND 8/15/13 and have worked here ever since. I am filing my ND state taxes for year 2013 but I never changed my drivers license over from KS to ND. Does that mean I am not a resident of ND? What will happen when I file my ND taxes? Do I need to file KS state taxes even though I didn't work there?

You pay taxes based on your tax home - which may or may not be your state of residence. In general that is where you work.

ND may require you to change your license, but the IRS (and probably the State tax department) doesn't care.

Did you work in Kansas prior to the move? If so, you need to file a Kansas return also. ND and KS do not have a reciprocity agreement.
